The state has in fact introduced very substantial help: from the tax credit on notary fees (the famous Bëllegen Akt), worth €30,000 in savings per buyer, to the loan guarantee, which can amount to as much as 30% of the credit taken out to buy or build the home, by way of the home ownership premium (up to €20,000 of support) or the 3% VAT rate on renovation works…
And there is not room to detail all the bonuses and financial support linked to the energy transition: enough to consider buying a home that, after some work, will be economical and “eco-responsible”; and that is no small matter when the electricity or heating bill arrives at the end of the month!
